We are thrilled to have a real life cover girl on our show! Meet Amanda Wittstrom-Higgins, a total dynamo in the wine world. Her title at Ancient Peaks Winery in Santa Margarita, Calif., which is just south of Paso Robles, is VP of Operations, but she does so much more. Amanda is a tireless promoter of her winery and the Santa Margarita and Paso Robles wine regions. She’s also a rancher, mom and she has a talent for wrangling people together for a good cause.
This fall, Wine Enthusiast selected Amanda for their cover of the 40 Under 40 issue, and we think it is awesome!
Amanda was a tour de force behind launching Wine Speak Paso Robles in 2018, and industry event bringing together top winemakers, sommeliers, journalists and hospitality professionals for several days of intensive, deep dives into specific varietals, wine styles, and hospitality issues in wine.
Perhaps most dear to Amanda’s heart is Dream Big Darling, a charitable, non-profit that brings wine industry leaders and up and coming newcomers together to share, learn, give back and pay it forward. Dreaming big is encouraged!
