You need to add a widget, row, or prebuilt layout before you’ll see anything here. 🙂

Julia Coney is a powerhouse in the wine world. This wine journalist and entrepreneur, a former beauty writer, who loves perfume and Champagne, is changing how the world views the wine industry. She founded Black Wine Professionals in the wake of the George Floyd shooting to recognize Black people working in all aspects of wine, offering visibility, support and guidance.

Tune in as the Marys get to know this mover and shaker – her struggles being a Black woman in an industry not traditionally known for diversity, how she is working to overcome that and help others on their wine journeys and her string of accomplishments, included being honored by Wine Enthusiast Magazine’s Wine Star Awards as the Social Visionary of the Year in 2020.

In addition to all that, Julia is a contributing editor at VinePair, hosts the Clubhouse room The Weekly Winedown and is working on her Wine Scholar Guild Champagne certification. We were so inspired by Julia’s story, and you will be too. We’re excited to see what she does next!
